The focus of Shimano's ME502 mountain bike shoes is on performance and excellent grip. These shoes offer high-level comfort while also enabling you to perform. With the ME502 MTB shoes, you're up to any challenge.
The Shimano ME502 MTB shoes provide excellent grip thanks to their rubber outsole. Traction has been optimised for wet conditions, which has increased the shoes' performance. The fibreglass-reinforced nylon midsole allows you to take a natural position during descents, which results in a high level of cycling comfort. The synthetic leather of which these mountain bike shoes are made offers great protection and sturdiness and makes them last very long.
BOA L6 dial closure
Shimano's ME502 mountain bike shoes feature the BOA L6 dial mechanism. The BOA mechanism ensures that you can find the perfect fit, which optimises your pedalling efficiency. The BOA dial on the ME502 shoes also has the L6 protective shield, which prevents the dial getting damaged or accidentally loosening during your trail rides.
In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!

Scarpa fine. La tua taglia è effettivamente la tua taglia. Si adatta molto meglio alle scarpe da corsa di Shimano, che sono un po' più strette (nell'avampiede). Durante la prima corsa ho avuto spesso a portata di mano la chiave a brugola per regolare le tacchette. Poi, una volta che sono a posto, è piacevole. Con il cinturino in velcro, la pressione sull'avampiede è facile da regolare.

Scarpa fine. La tua taglia è effettivamente la tua taglia. Si adatta molto meglio alle scarpe da corsa di Shimano, che sono un po' più strette (nell'avampiede).
